Neighborhood seems grey, old and passed over for development but not necessarily bad. All in all, the lodge/hotel and staff are nice and pleasant.

The outside is not preaty but it is a good value, the room was clean and the bed fine. I booked here because I had to get to the airport in the AM. There are hiding gems where one can find food and drink within a couple miles. Id stay there again. Dont be afraid when you pull up to the front.

It smelled of weed even though it said no smoking and no drugs. The waitress was VERY high. Bathrooms flooded. Not a clean place.

Won't be back.
Property very dated and shows signs of wear and tare throughout.
Room was very dark with minimal furnishings and poor lighting. Heater temperature control was broken and thermostat could not be adjusted.
The bath plug failed to prevent water from draining from the tub.
The front desk was not manned and the security of accessing the property was very poor.
The environs of the hotel were a little sketchy and the entrance road is rutted with pot holes.

Pillows and mattress left a lot to be desired, hotel itself and a bit of a smell. Upon arrival had to call for someone to the desk.

Good basic hotel!
Very basic hotel, clean room, clean bathroom, slept well. Front desk not manned in person for checkout, sign with phone number to call. Small gym room with at home style equipment gets the job done, needs some wipes or spray to clean equipment.

Cheap - but get what you pay for!
The room had a bad smell. I was given a room without a frig, when it showed came with frig. I asked at desk and was moved to one with frig. The carpet in the room was very nasty/dirty would not walk around bare foot.

Really nice, just renovated motel. No real exciting amenities but we prefer a nice clean, functional place to stay for the value. Dinner on end of property nice as well. Stayed there while racing at Pitt Race. Room for race car trailer and tow rig.

The room itself was nice (although you may want to bring extra pillows). The AC worked well, the bed was comfy and small soaps, shampoos, etc. were provided. However, there was a strong smell of smoke and other substances in the public areas. The front desk was not staffed, and the front door and stairwell were not secured. I visited the restaurant an hour before close and the employees seemed very done with it all (which is fair, but not pleasant on my end). (The food was okay.) The inn is accessed via the construction company's driveway, which is in bad shape.
