Nous avons fêté en amoureux notre 1er anniversaire de mariage et c'était formidable. Tout était parfait. Le massage pour madame à notre arrivée (je m'y suis pris trop tard pour pouvoir faire un massage en couple), 1 heure de relaxation dans le SPA, hammam, et diner a l'extérieur. Ce petit chateau est magnifique. Le personnel est au petit soin pour que le sejour soit inoubliable. Bref, nous recommandons.

Amazing! Would definitely come back
Amazing stay at this beautiful chateau - the owners were so thoughtful and service-minded. We were blown away by how beautiful the property and the room was. Lovely breakfast and location. Short walking-distance to Saumur and also lots of nice wine-producing chateaus nearby to visit for tastings. Would definitely come back!

WOW, what an amazing place!
We stayed for one night as part of a big birthday celebrations, but wish we’d stayed longer. It’s absolutely beautiful.
Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble.
Walking distance to the bars and restaurants.

Luxurious hotel and gardens
This was truly a gem within walking distance to the town centre. We adored the gardens, lobby and resting areas, and the spacious room and the pool. The interior furnishings were luxurious. The owners have great pride in the place and attention to detail shows at every corner. The only letdown was the small number of staff, that impacts the service a bit. Still it is excellent value nd recommend to stay more than a couple days to truly enjoy the place.

Gorgeous property -- loved the authentic early-20th century architecture and decor, and yet modern bathrooms. Our room was enormous!!! A bit far for walking to the center of town, but very quiet and peaceful. Unique!

Incredibly stay in a real Chateau!
This was an absolute DREAM! What a beautiful hotel. It did not feel like a hotel, it was more of a luxury bed and breakfast. It is a true chateau in the heart of the city and it is just beautiful. The town of Saumur is only a 5 min walk away. It is also only 5 min walk to the main city mall. The rooms are so clean and cozy and the staff is so wonderful especially Ines. She was so kind and helpful. Every room is so special and the chateau is so fun to explore. The spa in the hotel is just the icing on the cake. If you are a hotel guest it is free to use the amenities for one hour each day. It was truly so special and the best stay.

Worth every penny. Beautiful surroundings, kind and welcoming staff. We stayed here for our silver wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. There is no restaurant for evening meals but there are loads of great restaurants in town which are within walking distance. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Magnifique halte dans cet écrin de verdure à deux-pas du centre-ville de Saumur, site entièrement sécurisé avec un accès via portail ouvrant en utilisant l'interphone pour joindre la réception. Le château est décoré traditionnellement avec beaucoup de charme tout en offrant tout le confort auquel on s'attend, et tout le personnel a été très gentil et attentionné, de l'accueil au départ en passant par le petit-déjeuner avec beaucoup de produits locaux. Nous y retournerons à coup sûr!
