What we expected for the price
The breakfast buffet is suited to Eastern tastes and does not have the variety that a Westerner would expect. Our selection was narrowed down to toast and plain bread which is what we had for breakfast.
We could not eat at the hotel restaurant at dinner time for the same reason and looked elsewhere for our food requirements.
Location is great and the hotel was comfortable and quiet.
There is no English spoken anywhere in the hotel and we struggled to communicate when there was a discrepancy with our booking.

Very Satisfactory
The staff was very helpful, despite the language barrier. There was internet in the room as promised and the connection was reliable. Some great restaurants in the area, Temple of Heaven and 10 min walk to the subway.

Cheap & Cheerful
Hotel was basic but clean an comfortable. Staff speak English even though I seemed to be the only non-Chinese guest. Soundproofing was poor - with noisy Chinese tour groups making a loud noise in corridor at all times.
