Great place for short stay
Decent place to stay closer to Venice. No refrigerator or coffee maker in the room. No bottle water - wending machine in a lobby. Bus station that takes you to historical sites near by. There is a bus #5,10, 15 that takes you to the airport as well, conveniently located few meters away after Pizza restaurant. Actually The bus from airport can be taken to this property too - I have not taken one from the airport because Hotel offers pick up between 2pm and 7pm It is mid of October and the was a little bit too cold and they do not have heating. Otherwise I would consider staying there again if the price is right. Or during stopover.

Good night before a flight.
Very nice, clean, quiet, economical room near the airport. Two suggestions: ac turned off October 1 but was needed. Also, a wand in the shower wound improve the shower. Staff was great.

Location is like a kilometer from the airport which is why we chose it. As such the traffic is significant. The staff helped us out with transportation to and from the airport and that was much appreciated. Room was small but adequate in every way. Faced with the same situation I’d stay there again. Parking looked limited but we turned in our rental car right after checking in so not a concern for us.

Property clean and close to airport but walking with suitcase difficult as no side walk for part of way. Transportation is expensive as one has to pay the minimum fare of 20 euro. Also the night I arrived the elevator was not working and I had to haul my very heavy suitcase to the second floor as no staff on duty after 7.

I always use reviews to decide where I am going to stay, and this was how we chose the Bella Onda. I hate writing a bad one because I know how important they are to a hotel’s survival, but I have no choice in this case. While the facility was clean and convenient to the airport, and the beds comfortable, we would not recommend it to anyone. We were three couples in three separate rooms, and all six of us had the same complaint. The showers were a trickle of lukewarm water, there was no place to set shampoo or soap other than on the shower floor, and the lighting in the bathroom was so dim that my husband had trouble seeing well enough to shave. To get to our rooms, we had to go outside and wait in the rain for a very slow elevator. The TV signal was glitchy and not pleasant to watch. We would not wish anyone else to have such a bad experience, so be forewarned.

This property has a very short check in window, but they do attempt to contact you via WhatsApp. If you don’t have internet there are no other options. There was no one at the property when we arrived around 9pm, nor when I was leaving. And the elevator from the 3rd floor didn’t work at 5am (yes, people have flights at this time) although it is there. The rooms are tiny and you can hear how your neighbor is sneezing. The shuttle that is mentioned in the listing is also available only at certain times. 15 min walk to the airport that is also mentioned doesn’t look like a walk. At least not the one I would attempt with a suit case. Towels looked clean but a bed had someone’s hair on it and there were ants on the floor. Over all, I would not stay here any more, only as a very very last resort. Not longer than a night before the flight.

Small hotel near the Venice airport. Good stop over location for our transfer to Cortina next day. Only one restaurant was open in the walking distance for dinner and later next breakfast. Room in the hotel is rather simple and small.

Great spot close to the Airport. Close to bus stop in to Venice as well. We had to leave @ 4 in the morning for our early flight. Easy 18mins walk to terminal. (A small part of it has no pavement, but not a problem as traffic is slow & road well lit) Perfect for our needs.

Uncomfortable bed (could feel springs). Unimpressive bathroom (shower head leaking all over and outside shower area, had to use towel to soak up all the water on the floor). Not worth the price charged of CDN$200. Also, there is NO SHUTTLE to airport. Read the fine print! They only offer shuttle FROM airport to the property and only during a short time period. I don't think they should be advertised as "shuttle available" on the Expedia and Booking sites because it's really not. I would imagine that most guests who stay there are travelling FROM Venice airport so for all practical purposes, the property really does not offer shuttle service. The taxi cost is 15 Euro of which about 7 is an airport surcharge. So unless you plan on walking to the airport, may as well stay in one of the other hotels that are further away from the airport.
