Incredible stay near Angkor Wat
One of the best hotels I have the opportunity to stay in. Only stayed for one night, but had an incredible experience. It was a place where I have experienced luxury and hospitality with not so luxury prices (value for money) as well as the place being very ethical & environmentally friendly (encourages to refill water bottles). Upon arriving, Py introduced me to the hotel where I was told that part of the hotel payment for the stay went for good causes locally and in addition many locals are employed and empowered, whilst provided with a fresh drink and fresh fruits and a cold towel to cool myself down. The check in was done incredibly nicely by Py who even without hesistation carried my bag to my room without even requesting it, which was a very nice gesture. I utilised the swimming pool on the roof top which was set up in a relaxing and cozy environment. I was able to store my luggage whilst exploring Angkor Wat for the day and even was given to opportunity to refresh myself (shower, brush teeth, use toilet, etc.) prior to taking the night bus after collecting luggage in the evening. I would like to thank Bunny who was very very very accommodating and helped me very much so with my check out process and also assisted me upon my return to the hotel for luggage collection. Apart from Py & Bunny who were incredible, I would also like to thank Chan, Peach, Ma & Nary who made my experience at this place very enjoyable and memorable in Cambodia. Many thanks to you all!!

This property exceeded all expectations. The staff went above and beyond to welcome their guests and ensure their guests were comfortable and happy with accommodations (Bunny was INCREDIBLE). The room was quiet. The beds were very comfy. The property has an excellent restaurant and a beautiful rooftop pool. They also offer a variety of excursions around Siem Reap and spa options on the property. The hospitality provided was impeccable! Excellent stay!

There was nothing to dislike about this hotel and I would definitely stay there again, without even looking at other hotels. The staff were extremely helpful, very friendly and went out of their way to assist you. The food in the restaurant was amazing. My stay in Cambodia was one of the best holidays that I have had and that was due to the staff at People By The Community. Christine 19.09.24

We were welcomed at this quaint hotel with a wonderful ginger and honey tea snd fresh fruit plate before being shown to our room which was very clean, quite large and comfortable. The Tuk Tuks from the hotel were the most reasonable we had in our travels throughout Vietnam and Cambodia. They also came back to get us when requested. We also had breakfast at the hotel, and it was delicious. They also arranged a ride to the airport for a very reasonable price (equivalent to Grab). They will also arrange for tours! The staff is very kind, genuine and super friendly. We didn’t use the pool but I felt the water and it felt refreshing. I love that these are people from the community working to help other people in the community.

Excellent!
We stayed in March 2024. Everything was great! We love all the staff. They are kind, respectful and go out their way to help you. We love To Pech (not sure if my spelling is correct). She is nice and personally took care of my son and me. If we ever go back to Siem Reap, this hotel is definitely on our top list to stay.

People by the Community is an amazing new and affordable hotel that is centered around kindness and supporting the local community. From the moment I arrived I was greeted by the friendly staff and received their own signature welcome drink. Everything was excellent from the room, food, drinks, and always having tuk tuk drivers available to take us anywhere. The best part about the place was all of the friendly staff that went above and beyond in service to their guests. I had an issue with my phone and they helped me find a shop to fix it. All of the staff were great to talk to and get to know. Definitely recommend this place in Siem Reap!

Most amazing hotel stay in Siem Reap
One of the most amazing hotel experiences I had in a long time. Stayed for only 3 nights and was blown away by the friendly and personal welcome. Everything from staff to hotel itself to style and feel couldn't have been better. They are still building up their rapport and online presence, but experience was already 10/10

Very beautiful hotel, kind staff, small breakfast
Beautiful spacious room, nicely decorated ambience, friendly staff. The breakfast was good but small. Hotels.com charged 17 USD for it but the price in the hotel would have been only 7USD. Even 7 USD is a bit costly for what you get.

-The personnel is really kind and hardworking; they remember you and are always willing to assist you. The team makes every effort to accommodate every request. A fantastic and helpful hotel project. Specifically Prior to late Airport Transfer, We Were Offered a Shower In a Room. -The rooftop swimming pool is magnificent, and the rooftop terrace provides an excellent view of the sunset. Everything is spotless and well-kept. and is functional. The room and the bathroom. Very spacious, comfy, and well-ventilated. -The breakfast was great and reasonably priced, and we liked the location as well - it was quite convenient. Close to the temple, and if you want to travel to the city, you must be relaxed by walking down the river. *We travel across the country a lot. But it's the country of Cambodia and the place's name People by The Community that make me feel at home. And we must not forget what they are doing to help individuals grow and have the opportunity to attend school, graduate, and find a better career. Allow them to gain work experience. Give advice an opportunity to enhance their skills. -This creates a very unique atmosphere in which everyone is ecstatic to be a part of the hotel. They reduce their usage of plastic and participate in a range of social projects. We liked the notion of supporting young people, and even though they are not experts yet, it is done with a lot of dedication which is much more valuable! A truly excellent place to lend a hand.

People by the community just started nearly 2 months ago, everyone is so happy and work so hard from morning until mid-night. I was wondering and asked them “You guys work so hard but look so happy. Could I know why?” They said that, they are so happy for working with the great community for helping many people. Everyone works from heart and sharing experiences to each other. Especially they are very helpful and so kind. They consider everyone is their family. They are very humble and so polite. They love their project and keep growing with this community. For me, it was very important for understanding about their concept for keeping environment cleaned by reduced Plastic. They also offer free water and afternoon Tea. I was so lucky for staying there not only the hotel but because of the staffs from there to make me understanding about emotional intelligent. One dollar per night and per room is the children school donation. So pity them! Sometimes, some of the guests were very rude behavior and put the feet on the table but they still keep working and smiling as normal, it was very difficult to see at that time but I wish, all of them getting more nice travelers to stay with them. I love their patience. I will definitely stay there again.

I have been traveling to 100 countries and this hotel and these people touched my heart. People here are amazing, they will do everything to fulfill your needs. Located on the main road to Angkor Wat is the perfect choice. Only this hotel in the whole city that has two swimming pools (ground floor and rooftop). US$1 for every single night will donated to the non-profit organization for free education, this is the real humanitarian concept that I ever met. I hope all the kind people around the globe will come and stay here to support them when traveling to Siem Reap, Angkor Wat. I wish them all the best and see you again soon.

When we arrived we did nt know that the hotel had been 'taken' over by people of the community. It seemed like some sort of charity work. Hats off to them for taking on a hotel and keep it running albeit on a shoestring budget. Things in a normal hotel had been cut back Eg breakfast menus, amenities open etc however credit where credit is due, they are trying their hardest to make it work.

4/10 Fair

Litt skuffende
Helt ok rom.
