Hidden Gem, highly recommend!
Such a gem!! This privately owned boutique hotel is fabulous. The feel is luxury authentic. The restaurant is excellent, staff and service are friendly, helpful and overall lovely! They go above and beyond with the details- like a wool warm water bottle tucked into your bed, great for recovery after hiking!!! Rooms are spacious, bathrooms impeccable, beds comfortable, surroundings are peaceful - a little terrace off my room opened up to a water fountain and beautiful garden courtyard - relaxing to listen to the water. The lobby is even gorgeous and relaxing with tea and a fireplace.

This is the best hotel we have stayed in for a very long time. It is by far and away the best in Peru, comparing very favourably against the five star hotel we chose for our stay in Machu Picchu, for example. The staff are all incredibly friendly, courteous, personable and professional. The rooms are exceptional and the restaurant never failed to please (breakfast or dinner). We simply could not fault this amazing hotel even if we tried!

We stayed at this hotel prior to our trek and then also after and it was absolutely fantastic on both occasions. The hotel was kind enough to hold our luggage for us while we were on our trek and when we returned, our luggage was in a room ready for us to jump into bed with hot water bottles and chocolates on the pillows. It was really fantastic. This was easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a foreign country especially considering the price. I highly recommend it! The staff was also amazing, the dining was terrific, and overall the hotel was super charming.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. The staff was amazing a special shout out to Kevin who always had a smile in his face. We really enjoyed the comfort, convenience and courtesy and would recommend this to anyone traveling. We did hike the trail and we were absolutely thrilled to be able to leave our luggage Here and return to it already placed in our room so we could fall into bed after a nice hot shower. If you’re looking for a quiet boutique hotel in the city center, look no further. It is amazing! One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The decor is gorgeous, the rooms beautiful and clean, super comfortable bed. Outstanding breakfast! We also had 1 dinner there and it was delicious as well. They have a beautiful spa where we had a fantastic massage. And the staff will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Superb!

Exceeded Expectations
We can’t say enough good things about this hotel. We loved the little touches such as the evening tea and heating packs for turn down service, local and sustainable room features, and the welcoming courtyard. The food at the hotel was delicious and the meal presentation was beautiful. We actually had two dinners and a breakfast at the hotel because it was that good. The staff was top notch and helped with all of our requests from holding our bags while hiking, to efficiently handling requests for laundry service or calling for a taxi. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a boutique hotel experience along the cobblestone streets of the San Blas neighborhood.
