Mixed Experience – Great Service from Katharina,
We had booked a deluxe room and tried to upgrade, but never received confirmation. Upon check-in, the receptionist (an Italian girl—honestly terrible at her job) assured us we had a “nice” room. In reality, it was one of the worst we’ve ever stayed in—and we travel a lot! It was in the basement, right next to the elevator, with two single beds instead of the king we had booked. It was dark, smelly, and the window was practically on the street.
My partner went back to reception and luckily met Katharina, who was amazing and provided top-notch service. Unlike the first girl—who claimed the hotel was fully booked—Katharina was happy to show us other options. In the end, we upgraded to a lovely junior suite for a reasonable extra fee.
The room itself was nice but way too hot, and we couldn’t adjust the temperature.
The hotel overall was decent, though we’ve stayed at better Hard Rock Hotels. The spa was nice, and the breakfast was great—especially since it was included.
As high-level members, we had free parking and were told we could charge our car in the garage. However, the only option was a regular socket, not one suited for an electric car. Eventually, we found a proper charging station outside, but it required a separate payment.
Overall, it was a nice stay in a good location, but there were definitely some frustrating moments!

A mixed experience
I booked for 2 nights just staying myself and my 10 year old son, having driven across Europe from the U.K. My son is a huge fan of Hard Rock hotels (our last stay being at the one in Tenerife) so we were excited to stay here in Davos. We booked the best room available (Platinum Suite - easily enough room for 6!) in hope of a great stay.
We had a poor experience at their restaurant on the first night (‘GMT 1’) but the following day the manager Lorraine took time to meet with me about it and went the extra mile to set things right. I trust she will train up the waiter involved.
The Spa was lovely, and Gabriella ensured we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. A little confusing to book (their digital booking system on the Contler app sent us round in circles, asking us for passwords that were weren’t provided) but once we’re we’re booked I had a great deep tissue back massage and a relax in the hot tub.
The Platinum Suite (room 906) is a large modern apartment. Decor was minimalistic compared to other Hard Rock hotels I’ve stayed at, feeling somewhat clinical rather than the usual rock star vibe. It was great to have USB sockets everywhere (even in the bathroom) and in true Hard Rock fashion I was able to borrow an acoustic guitar during our stay.

Wir waren zum Skifahren in Davos und unser Aufenthalt war fantastisch! Auch das Wellnessangebot hat für ein paar entspannte Stunden vollkommen ausgereicht. Ich habe ein Upgrade auf eine Suite bekommen – das Zimmer war sensationell groß, super ausgestattet und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Tiefgarage war vorhanden, der Preis war fair. Rundum ein top Erlebnis! Gerne wieder.

Superior Zimmer, Schlafbereich wie im Wohnwagen
Wir sind regelmässige Hotelgäste im Hard Rock und bisher immer sehr zufrieden mit den Aufenthalten, so dass es uns immer wieder hierher zieht.
Beim Check In gestern waren wir jedoch ausserordentlich enttäuscht über die Zimmergrösse. Die Zimmer sind generell sehr klein im HardRock, das sind wir uns gewohnt, aber das Zimmer war wirklich mit Abstand das kleinste Zimmer welches wir hatten. Das Bett hat sich angefühlt wie in einem Wohnwagen. Beim Schlafen kam ich beim ausstrecken der Beine an die Wand. War keine erholsame ama Nacht nach einem aktiven Sporttag, den wir uns eigentlich gewünscht haben.
Wirklich sehr schade und für diesen Preis absolut nicht Wert.
Das Personal ist wie immer super freundlich und sehr Kundenorientiert.
Das Hotel war ausgebucht und wir keine Nerven für die Suche eines neuen Hotels, deshalb haben wir stillschweigend die Situation so akzeptiert.

The hotel has big, well-maintained, modern rooms. We liked the breakfast, and the restaurant is also an excellent option for lunch and dinner if you don't feel like going out.
The gym is well-equipped for cardio and strength training (including a barbell rack, dumbells, etc).
The spa feels basic, but it's enough for a ski holiday.
Parking spaces are limited. There is free parking outside, but it is almost always full, and there is paid underground parking, which you must reserve via phone in advance. If you want to take the car out, reserve a space and hope the barrier works (otherwise, they can't guarantee the spot). Parking is the main inconvenience for this hotel.
