We enjoyed our 3 night stay here in this mixed residential and hotel building. Our room was on the 43rd floor with some excellent views. Its central location also made it very convenient to walk to many of the places we wanted to go to.
However, there were small things which made it short of getting 5 stars:
- Housekeeping service could’ve been better. When we came back late in the afternoon on our second day, we had to call reception to ask when our room would be serviced. We had to use our own phone as there wasn’t one in the room. When our room was serviced the next day, they only provided one towel. We asked reception for a towel. The lady there gave this rude, taken aback reaction when we only asked for one towel.
- They don’t provide slippers.
- No blackout curtains in the room, only blinds. This didn’t help us as light sleepers.
- Didn’t have a speaker for us to play music.
- We checked out before reception’s starting time of 7am and followed their instructions on how to return the keys to the designated mailbox in the mailroom. Despite this, they still called and asked when we were checking out. I wish they had checked the mailbox first.
These being said, its location and price were great and we would stay here again.
