The property is on the main road near the play attractions in Bakuriani. However, during our stay power was interrupted several times in the night due to a fire accident nearby and there was no backup power supply in the hotel. As a result of which the room heating was sub-optimal and we had to spend a sleepless night (outside temperature was around -6 degrees to -3 degrees celsius). Breakfast was very nominal and had very few choices considering the hefty price I paid for a Superior/Deluxe room.

Nice staff, low staffing numbers, late breakfast
The morning of my checkout, there was one staff member who apparently is supposed to tend the breakfast area on the 5th floor, and also the front desk (prior to high season at least). When I needed to check out, there was no one to be found around the reception, so I went to the 5th floor breakfast area to ask where was the reception person, and the staffer there told me it would be him. This is unacceptably low staff coverage. Also, why does the breakfast not start til 9am? It's too late. We needed to get to the train by 10am, which barely left enough time. We didn't have time to eat, drink coffee, return to the room to freshen up and prepare for checkout. This place should start breakfast by no later than 8am. 7 or 730 would be better. However the staff was great on the evening of my check-in, all 3 of them at the desk. And the rooms were very clean and very nicely decorated and very comfortable. I hope they would start breakfast an hour earlier. But I won't always take the old Soviet train at 10am, every time i come to Bakuriai, so I would stay here again.
