Don’t, not even on a backpacker budget
For the price we paid, I could have stayed in a gorgeous guest house if I’d searched more diligently and not assumed everything in Kuta was full. The place is decrepit. We booked a room for four. Our room for our family was designed for two, so they jammed two twin beds in making the room unusable. It was almost impossible to shut the door. We got flea bites too and the bedding felt gritty. The shower has no partition to the toilet, so the toilet is soaked when you take a shower. Pros are AC and decent breakfast. Location is terrible. While across from the beach, it’s at the end of town. I never write bad reviews but feel I owe it to single female travelers and families to tell them to stay away.
