The front desk staff were very helpful and the check in process was fast and smooth. The front desk personnel answered all of my questions professionally. The room was ok. Don’t stay on the first floor. Reason is the outside light can’t be turned off and it lights up the room at night. Free eye masks at front desk at your request. Breakfast was good which was a highlight of the morning. The parking deck it very tight to drive in. Parking is tight as well. Checkout was easy. Overall the bed was a little firm for my liking and the pillows were somewhat flat. The neighbors were loud and the walls are thin but earplugs help. I probably will not stay there ever again. The hotel was undergoing major renovations so just beware.

Good and comfortable stay
The stay was good. However, there were some issues we faced: 1) There was no hot water in the sink tap. 2) There were no options for vegeterians in the breakfast. 3) They don't offer complimentary water bottle for the room unless you become a Choice member.

Nice
The hotel is going under renovations, however, our room was comfortable, the gym was nice the pool was cold for an indoor pool. I could only dip my feet in it. The kids tried to get acclimated to the temperature but couldn’t. They remembered having fun in the pool last year when we stayed here.

Enjoy Every Year.
We've been coming back to this hotel for the past five years and we'll be returning next years as well. The staff is top notch, and it feels like they go out of their way to make sure everything about your stay is enjoyable, from the front desk staff to the housekeepers. Until some changes are made, I won't be back.
They messed up my reservation and had to redo it, which took forever. The room was not at the price they originally quoted me. When we checked in, we were told the street in front of the hotel would be blocked early the next morning because of the Veterans' Day parade. Why didn't they tell us that when I was making the reservations? This whole thing was sloppily handled, and unless some major improvements are made, I won't be back.

Wonderful stay
We stayed in Va Beach due to a family personal matter. However wanted to be near the ocean. Country Inn and Suites wa Ocean Front and very nice. In addition the xmas lights just started. That was an added bonus. Just note to stay on the lower levels as they are doing construction
