I can't remember having stayed in a worse 3*
This is a very tired hotel. I could imagine that when it was first built it would have been quite nice. However it looks like it has never had a refit or facelift. On check-in, the double room I was offered didn't have windows (so the staff told me) so I took a twin room instead that did have a window view. Later in the evening, I could smell smoking coming from the room next door that permeated the corridor. I complained at reception so was given another room on the floor below. It was up to me to pack and move rooms. Staff refused to help me. Clearly hotel manager was not concerned that people were smoking in their room) The two rooms that I had had only one wall socket to charge our phones. The beds and mattresses were very old. The chambermaid did not clean our room during our stay so ran out of fresh towels and rubbish accumulated in the bathroom and bedroom and the beds were not made. I complained at reception about this but was shrugged off with the pretext of COVID rules. The air conditioning thermostat was disabled so could not adjust room temperature and could not open window to compensate either. The bathroom soaps were miniscule, cheap & nasty and ran out since chambermaid didn't tend to our room. The bath was dirty so only had showers standing in the bath. The car parking was outsourced to another company so had to periodically top up our parking charge during our stay (to avoid a £100 excess charge), rather than just add a single parking charge to our room bill.

1 night stay
Although rooms have dated decor - comfortable, clean & quiet! We were on the 7th floor - nice view The TV was in an odd place & no arm so could not move. Love the lobby decor. Check in & out very easy. Would be nice to have free wifi in rooms Parking app was a pain would not load, did it online in the end. Did not eat breakfast there, bit too expensive I thought at £15. Would stay again if in Canary Wharf. Overall happy with stay.

A very old, tired hotel.
No facilities open to eat or drink when I checked in - after a long journey, I had to go outside the hotel to eat and get a drink. No hot water for a shower the evening I checked in. Fire alarm went off 4 times in first night and noise from other rooms was loud. My room was very old and tired - lamps at side of bed didn’t work and floor in bathroom was so loud - squeaky. Navigation to room and back to reception isn’t clear.
