Very old hotel and very used No cleaning of the rooms for the 3 nights stay Happy to be traveling in the weekend - otherwise the construction around the hotel would have been a noise-nightmare - just for info, not reflecting in the hotel review The Barstaff was quite friendly - The reception was kinda arrogant. I expected more from the pictures - The locate in great near Canary Wharf - Definatly the highlight of this hotelstay

open slow internet connection is not okay if you need to work, this is an area for professionals not tourists, need to be secure, I booked the room but could not work from it, not even with my own phone as the room was in the basement with poor connection. the thermostat was broken (display) and the room cold.

Overall good value
Overall it was a good room (with no windows!), bed was ok and we slept fine. Disappointingly despite checking in online as requested the “fast track” lane to get the room key took far too long. Would suggest they look at an alternative solution (maybe an electric box with the key after typing in the reference number?) rather than waiting for staff on reception.
