This is the place to stay on the Block

We are regular travelers to BI and have always loved the Surf Hotel (BI BH) but never stayed until this time. Everything about the service exceeded expectations. Our room was ready, the online check in expedited our process. The room was immaculate, fabulous shower (which you can almost never say on the Block) - super friendly bartenders, and the guy setting up beach side umbrellas and chairs was incredible in 96 degree heat. The food was great, the check out was super easy- we will always come back.

We liked the location, we liked the parking. The room with a king bed was on 2nd floor and had very little floor space to walk around. The bathroom was supertight, very little floor space between pedestal sink, toilet and shower stall. We also had very noisy neighbors above us.
