Hotel was tired, we were not made aware of half the hotel being refurbished. We had a tiny room that we did manage to get upgraded to a family room thankfully! Lake view was amazing.

The view was amazing. Shops, bars, restaurants and tourist attractions all nearby.
The staff were very professional. We didnt expect to get our room made up and fresh towels on Christmas day, it was completed when we went out for a walk.

Nice location and ok hotel
Pleased with the choice of hotel being the peak season as easily walkable to the centre. They had a problem it seems with the previous guests so the carpet was wet and being disinfected. Not their fault. But not so pleasant for us. The bathroom and hotel are a bit tired. Could do with a freshen up.

Would never stay again
The hotel was sub par in every way. Rude and combative front desk manager when I told him we had no water at pressure at all in our shower. Room was dirty when we checked in. Clearly regional managers are unaware how tattered and underwhelming this property has become. Very disappointing on so many levels. Too bad. We expected to like it

It looks run down and cost a lot for very average conditions on the lake which was nice. About 750 meters from downtown

The view from our apartment was magnificent.Staff changed our room upon our request as the room allocated was not in the area that we were accustomed to whilst staying at Rydges on other ocassions. That service was great.
In our times there we have been a little disappointed in the menu offered.

Beautiful views from the my room and the dining room, I’d say the best views from a hotel in Queenstown. I’m thinking of coming back for a summer holiday.

Stayed on the ground level apartments. Great location but the rooms are very average to be nice. No air conditioning (that works or from this decade). Amenities really poor and bathroom terrible.
Great location but if I had my time again I’d book another hotel.
