Good with reservations
The apartment was fairly small with no sitting room or area, just bedroom with tv, kitchen/ dining room and bathroom. The owner was very friendly and helpful but we had 2 oroblems there. We couldn't get the cooker to work, it wouldn’t turn up or down, the alarm was always going off when we hadn't set it and then the whole cooker turned off and wouldn't reset. If you spilt water on the hob it went iff, if you wiped the cooker it went off. The owner was very helpful over it but we struggled to cook all week. The second thing was when we booked we had to pay a deposit and we had printed out the hotels.com receipt showing this. However the iwner said we hadnt paid. Our attempts to get hold of hotels.com failed miserably, the chat box didn’t resolve it but then cut us off, the app said we had paid the deposit plus a further payment and only owed about €111 so in the end we paid the full amount. On returning to Britain our bank statements showed no payments to hotels.com had been taken so the owner was right but it caused a lot of worry and stress which you don't need on holiday. So hotels.com what us going on because we also had a mess up at an overnight stay in Germany booked through hotels.com and paid twice!! Answer from you would be great but I'm not holding my breath.
