We enjoyed our stay at the Tropicana. We ate twice a PJ Changs and it was the BEST food we ever had there. This is still the premier hotel in AC and absolutely the Best Bang for the buck. Entertainment Galore….. Love this place.

Truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were super helpful and so nice, didn’t take me long to figure out where the casino was and boy was the service quick! Really didn’t have to leave the hotel since shopping and food were right in the building. Will be back!!

The bathroom had a slight urine smell coming from somewhere, possibly the exhaust, but otherwise the room was clean and had great amenities. There was always plenty to see and do once you stepped outside the room. It was raining during our stay, so it was nice that everything we needed to enjoy ourselves was already available on the property.

We traveled with our grandson, were hoping to make use of the family fun station which was closed while we were there. Outdoor pool was nice, clean and not too crowded. We stayed in the north tower which was easy to get to the beach and boardwalk once you figured out the maze of the hotel. Restaurants were all amazing, plus the marketplace shops. Staff was very helpful. Room was older but clean and comfortable. Slept well. I'd stay here again minus a child. Website made it seem much more kid friendly than it was

Staff was excellent 👌 Every employee we had contact with was friendly and helpful. The place is huge. We had to ask for directions many times. Our room was nice. It was older, but clean and fresh sheets and towels. We got lucky with Ocean front room. Fireworks right outside our windows. Nice bonus. The Casino floors were clean, well kept. It was lively and good vibe atmosphere. The pool area was beautiful. Clean, nice chairs & umbrellas. It was a spontaneous overnight trip for us, we had a great time.

The hotel is rundown and check-in staff was “snippy.” The TV screen was broken, as was the sink drain. Carpeting in the room was very dirty. Many things were closed, like the pool and hot tub which we were looking forward to.

Amenities are great for both the gambler and the non- gambler . Plenty to do on the property , and bonus The old neighborhood behind the Trop has a lot of good original restaurants .
