The bar advertised Taittinger champagne but did not have any in stock. Bar food was good and it was pleasant to sit outside and be served. The staff were very helpful and efficient. The public areas were quite grand and impressive. However, some areas were a bit dated and need refurbishment. Our room was clean but dated, in need of attention. For instance, the curtains had a hole in them. The fridge cabinet doors need attention as they didn’t close easily. On the whole a bit tired, but the staff were very good.
