Some things in this hotel are quite tired eg the double-glazing in our room had 'popped', and the plumbing needed updating - mixer taps and a walk-in shower would be nice. Breakfast - they didn't do porridge, it's a very long time since we stayed in a hotel that doesn't do porridge. Parking was good and convenient, but you do have to pay for it. The staff were always very helpful.

Fantastic view of the cathedral from our room. However the room and hotel were a little tired. There were cracked tiles on the bathroom floor, and the bathroom light switch was in a dangerous condition…arcing at the slightest touch. There never appeared to be any staff available and the buffet breakfast…well, don’t bother paying for it! You can get a fabulous breakfast at one of the many cafes available nearby!
