Overall a very nice hotel with excellent service. Our room smeltnof smoke due to a party next door but we were given breakfast as compensation which was an example of the good service

Tiny room for the price you pay!

Great hotel , fab area , great place to visit london from The hotel its self is a bit dark , the room we had was a little on the small side , but very cosy when you are in . A shame there are no gym/spa facilities , we did get offered the use of the SKC , which i have been to but there was an extra charge of £50 for the day which seems extreme if yiu just want a gym for and hour or so .Wifi is frustrating as you don't stay logged in. We didnt eat there so cant comment

Blakes is very cool, but it is no longer a 5 star hotel, at least not the two rooms we saw. This is an expensive hotel that claims 5 stars. It is tired. The two rooms we were offered at our price (plenty), were a bit cramped for a couple, and again, tired (e.g. old paint, soiled carpets).
