Breakfast on the first morning felt reheated (not sure if you book a late breakfast the food is left warming) it wasn’t enjoyable. Staff seemed a little shorthanded in the bar and restaurant but all were really helpful and friendly. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly and helped us with directions to the Burnside 1st tee. We ate at the nearby Rookery restaurant which provided food and wine to a high standard. All in all, great value. We have to come again soon as we didn't get a chance to use the spa facilities. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
