Not a good value for the price.
Not a good value compared to other European hotels, may be because you don’t have lots of choices in Salerno. Bed is of the foam type, not comfortable. Shower is half enclosed, you have to be careful not to get water everywhere. The toilet leaks water and makes noice.

I was not informed about inserting the key card in a special socket in order to activate the lights in the room. In order to use the elevator you needed to insert the key and was not very easy to use or responsive. Breakfast was included and it was good. I will stay again.

Great Hotel
This hotel is a great find. The staff are all lovely, the breakfast is nice and the rooms are very good. We had 3 rooms and not a problem with any of them. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest Metro station which runs from the main train station to the football stadium, you can buy tickets outside any stop or at a post office. The other big attraction is Pizzeria Salernitana, the local restaurant around the corner. You don’t need to eat anywhere else, it is a proper Italian restaurant that caters for the locals, the food, value and service is the best I’ve experienced in Italy. The owner went out of his way to be helpful and even made our Dad a meal not on the menu as he had the ingredients and it was Dads favourite growing up in Salerno.

Worst hotel ever
Sure, here is the translation: We were greeted by one friendly female staff member, and the rest of the staff were arrogant and unhelpful. The hotel's fitness center was not a fitness center but a room with one machine that didn't work. There was also a treadmill and a bike that took turns not working. The breakfast was extremely boring with not a single vegetable. You also had to pay for a boiled egg - I've never experienced that before. We usually enjoy staying at Novotel hotels around the world, but this was absolutely the last time.

Disappointed- lots of extras. You need a bathing cap to use the pool. Which will cost you 2 euros. Windows and elevator glass dirty. One side of hotel faces a garbage area - highly visible. No complimentary products like the other hotels Shampoo - etc. black mold in bathroom tile area.
