We had an excellent stay at the North Lakes hotel last weekend! As we were travelling with our toddler, we chose a superior room to allow for more space. The room was clean and appeared to be recently refurbished. The small extra touches such as a full-size fridge, coffee machine and welcome biscuit were welcomed. This hotel is fab for day trips into the Lakes and evenings in the impressive spa and restaurant onsite.

We loved our brief stay! Perfect for a stopover on the long drive from Sussex to Scotland. Ideally situated and clean with friendly staff and great facilities. The restaurant food was excellent, too - we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. Our children loved their bunk beds in our room! Will almost certainly visit again.

Hotel and room were extremely clean and tidy but unfortunately there was a terrible odour in the entrance of drains. And the corridors and our room smelt of damp/animals. Our room was very small, but good condition. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in a long time and the restaurant and reception staff were all excellent. Overall would stay again but I thought the hotel was very expensive for what it was.

The hotel was beautiful, rooms lovely and clean! The swimming pool and spa facilities, steam room were very good and very relaxing! The food at the FYR restaurant on site was lovely and reasonably priced aswell. The only cons I would say is that the drinks at the bar and and the pool are very expensive, considering the amount you are spending on everything else, in my opinion they don’t need to be that expensive. Overall had a very relaxing weekend, and I would return.
