terrible experience
Sheets were dirty with what seemed like blood and other types of stains, hair from other people in beds and pillows, lights were not working, the shower was clogged with hair, and pillows had stains. They gave us two rooms both were about the same condition. The owner was frustrated we requested clean sheets to sleep in. We wish we could have not stayed there. Definitely go elsewhere.

Unsafe and I left for another motel
We didn’t stay and I wasted all the money I spent for that motel. It had roaches and beer cans on the floor. I couldn’t get in the room they wouldn’t fix my lock just told me to go to another building esvrytime I would need in. Weed in draw. So unsafe for kids

Unpleasant
The stay wasn’t pleasant whatsoever, the tv nor heating/air conditioning worked it was broken! The tv only had 2 channels out of 24! There was only two towels and two towels and two wash cloths for two people for two days. The rooms were not very clean either! But the beds were clean and comfortable! The most disturbing thing about being at Motel M Lewisburg was that while we were asleep the owner and his wife unlocked our door and was standing in the doorway staring at us. They say it wasn’t them and was someone that went to the wrong room, but how’s that possible if the keys are linked to certain door numbers and they have keys to all the doors. If that’s the case all their keys are magnetized to open every door and each person should not feel safe in their Motel anyone with a key can get in any room! Disturbing

This place was filthy. Checking in was weird because it’s all done by phone. You program your own card. When walking from the bed to the bathroom our feet were black. Had to wear shoes inside. The room smelled like a hundred years of cigarette smoke and sadness. People live there. The walls were crumbling and the ceiling was dirty with cobwebs and black lint. No amount of diffusing and Lysol fixed it. When we turned on the heat we thought it was going to start a fire. Had to walk outside to breathe. The beds were comfy and the shower was nice. Sorry to leave yall a bad review but you gotta step up the game a notch. The place has potential.

Anything is better.
Rented 2 rooms. No one at front desk. Had to call the number posted and he acted like he didn't know his number was listed as front desk contact. Lady finally shows up says she is having to wash and clean rooms as well as be receptionist. ((Let me say that the receptionist was very nice and did the best with what she had and was accommodating.)) There is a stack of room cards that the customer (me) has to place on the key card programmer. Only one of them worked (after trying 10 cards) so receptionist took us to our room, let us in and had to bring back a working key for the other room. The towels were all stained (OLD Towels) (both bathrooms). THat being said the towel in my bathroom did smell clean. There were hairs on the bath tubs in both rooms. The door on my room was glued back together as you could tell it had been kicked in. Not a place for anyone with a family. The owners are not at all concerned with running a clean maintained establishment. I am one who does not write bad reviews I just let it go but this one needs to be written.

New management improving stays
I took a gamble on booking this place because the reviews were not great. Upon arrival the place looked fine and it was in an amazing location, literally across the street from the WV fair grounds. The room was an average looking motel room, with a clean comfortable bed, good working a.c. and strong water pressure. The wifi and TV was iffy, and the room would benefit from a good deep cleaning. Overall, it was a good place to lay your head for a brief stay. The new manager went above and beyond and made the stay feel safe and welcoming. I plan to stay again in the future and am looking forward to additional improvements. This place has potential.

By far the worst experience I have ever had with a so called motel. Was a fight going on next door when we arrived, felt very unsafe. Place was filthy. Had to check in over the phone, absolutely no face to face with anyone, no office or lobby. When I cancelled my reservation, was told I had to contact Expedia, they tried to help but was told no refunds, (was charged 2 days and never set foot in the door.)

Earwig infested rooms literally on our beds and in our clothes for 7 days. Scalding hot (hospital burns) water when a neighbor used their water. 2 towels for 7days, extra fee per extra towel. Both rooms on either side of ours was robbed on different days. You must call a number which connects to a call center so that you can MAKE YOUR OWN ROOM KEY. This happened 3 times before one worked. Proof of cameras inside the rooms. Don’t torment yourself by staying at this “Motel.”
