Not worth the stay

This is a no frills hotel. I’ve stayed at this hotel on several occasions because of it’s proximity to the port but would never stay longer than a night. This hotel needs upgrading in structure and technology. The 1st room I received had a sewage smell as soon as you walked in. The 2nd room had key issues. The finally room provided required the hotel manager’s assistance in getting on. At this point it was too late to change hotels.

All staff were excellent. Enjoyed “Julie” our server in the restaurant in the evening. Only thing they could do differently is provide 2 bars of soap in the bathroom. One for the sink and one for the shower.

This hotel is very rundown. Floors were dirty, mold in the corners and carpet was old. We couldn’t change the air conditioner settings. No coffee offered. Cost $5 in the restaurant. Bad coffee at that. Very limited on site shop. Pool is closed, construction next door. Motorcycle races up and down the street in front at 1;00 AM.
