6/10 Good

We had the only twin room in the hotel which had a bath with overhead shower with plastic curtain. As two elderly ladies a walk in shower would have been preferred. Booking online unable to ascertain what it would be. Unable to talk directly to hotel by phone. Very outdated property needing complete overhaul, no soundproofing from upstairs occupants, scruffy. Having said this the staff on site were excellent.

We have stayed here before, as a budget hotel, it was fine, a bit grubby in places and the hotel looked tired! Breakfast was good and consistent. The car park! Not many available places to park, that were not under trees, car was covered in pigeon poo!

A short overnight stay at great value. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. It's not a four star hotel so don't expect toiletries and hair dryer, but a warm welcome, comfortable bar area and good parking for free.
