Room was spacious, bed was very comfortable. Staff welcomed me and helped me through the process of using the keyless entry system. I’m sure GenZ has no problem using the system, but it’s necessary to download an app, connect to it, then link the hotel and make sure that the App is connected to Bluetooth…then figure out how to position the phone to make the connection work. I just told you I’m old!

We stayed for two nights. We loved the room and the staff. It is close to the trolley but far from the city center. Cabs are not easily accesible and need to be called by the staff. If you have no problems with public transportation, this is the right place to stay!

You have to pay the city tax via paypal - after which using, my credit card number was stolen (not the hotels fault). Taxi between the airport, though only 1 km, cost 15 Euros. I had a 6am flight and wanted a hotel close to the airport, Franchi was described as having airport shuttle and that was the ONLY reason I booked it. When I asked about the shuttle I was told the hotel does not have it and that I should order a taxi. Now, it is merely 900m from the terminal, but via semi-industrial area that does not have sidewalks, no option to walk at all, let alone with suitcases. Reception assured us the taxi would be 15 euros (a rip-off, considering the distance), but then we were charges 22 euros, for 900m ride! Next time I would stay downtown instead of moving closer to the airport the night before departure, because not only the information about the shuttle was not correct, the surrounding area looks awful. Booking this hotel was a big mistake.

Didn't respond to emails. Didn't send promised email with links to set up smartphone.They apparently speak of "emails" but mean "WhatsApp," which we don't have. Showed up and had to wait a long time as they tried to set up my smartphone. All attempts failed. Eventually gave us key card after we stood around for 15 minutes. Process is all to save 5 cents on cost of key card and be "modern"? Website includes false information about parking and, oddly, ZTL, which they acknowledged but are unlikely to change. Tired to call to determine if website info true, but it took numerous phone calls before they picked up and acknowledged info was false (about that location). And why no place to put soap in shower? Another attempt to save a couple of euros by not installing soap holder? Cheap discount-store quality furniture. As crow flies, very close to airport (which is why booked), but in reality taxi to airport is 20 euros.

A little gem near the airport.
We enjoyed our stay. The owners are onsite, friendly, and are there for any need. We arrived 2 hours before our check in time. He walked us through the keyless entry for the building and room, kept our luggage whike we had a few drinks in the garden area, and gave us a great room which was cozy but very clean and comfortable. We had dinner here as well and it was very good. They also arranged for a cab to the airport at 4:30am (about 5 mins away by car). We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

We chose it for its proximity to the airport, but it did not really satisfy my standards as airport-adjacent, since we had to use a taxi anyway (no shuttle).
