Overall, I had a good stay. The Garden was very clean and well-maintained, which made it comfortable and welcoming. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast, which was a nice touch and appreciated. The only issue during my stay was that the AC wasn’t working properly, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. However, the host was responsive and the cleanliness and included breakfast helped make up for the slight inconvenience.

We had a wonderful stay at the property. It was close to the warf and a short walk to Mallory Square. Sammie was worth his weight in gold for the property. He was very helpful & accommodating with a great personality. This guy does it all. Breakfasts were good. The only negative I could possibly say was that there was speratic issues with water pressure. Other than that - it was excellent & we would return again.

This was our first stay and visit to Key West. We were very impressed with this booking. Rooms were very clean; grounds were very well taken care of, and the pool/hot tub was great. "Sammy from Miami" was a great host, made the best breakfast waffles with fruit, and Katie the dog was a plus. Within walking distance to Duvall Street, the Marina, and all of the attractions. We will stay here again and highly recommend it. Andy

This is clearly a very old property, which isnt the fault of anyone's. However, the A/C in the room which is MANDATORY if you want to sleep is so dang loud, you cant sleep. So what do you do... the rooms are TINY TINY. The pool was pretty dirty, we wanted to go in but decided against it. It didnt feel like a resort in any sense of the word...which it doesnt fancy itself like that I get but, its pretty rundown if im being honest. Staff is super chill, friendly, helpful as they could be.

A Cozy Gem in the Heart of Key West The Garden House is a lovely, cozy hotel located in the Historic District of Key West. We spent six days here and really enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic and everything is within easy walking distance. The breakfast was amazing! We had made-to-order waffles almost every morning by Sammy, who was absolutely wonderful. He was friendly, welcoming, and really made our mornings special. We also loved the fresh fruit with Cool Whip—it’s something we’re definitely going to miss! I’d also like to mention Dawson, who was working a couple of the days we were there. He was very helpful and made sure we had what we needed. One thing we really liked about this hotel is that they don’t automatically clean your room every day. We actually preferred this. If you need fresh towels or supplies, you can simply ask in the morning, and they are happy to provide them. We also really liked the keyless entry. Since we were out on the water almost every day, it was so convenient not having to worry about carrying a room key or figuring out where to keep it while swimming and snorkeling. The only thing I would mention—and it’s really more of a minor inconvenience than a negative—is that our shower in Room 10 didn’t have anywhere to keep shampoo or soap. It looked like there may have once been a small shelf or holder there that had broken and just hadn’t been replaced. Other than that, we had no complaints. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
