This hotel is unique and within walking distance of everywhere! It was converted from a house built in the 1830's to a hotel, so it is not a high end, ultra modern hotel, but the ambiance is what gives it special charm. We were upgraded to a suite on the third floor, and it was large and furnished in true antiques. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will stay in one of the 4 hotels which are in this group when we return.

Loved the stay! The staff was top notch and the pool was such a welcome addition after a long day of walking. The cold water in the lobby was helpful as well. The parking is super convenient and the location is unbeatable. The room is small, and a bit of furniture rearranging would probably create a better flow to the room, but that is minor as we don’t come to NOLA to hang out in the room. Overall I would definitely stay again. Stay here if you’re looking for real New Orleans charm, instead of a cookie cutter experience.

This is a very old structure turned into a hotel. It is cute and quaint and in a good area, but it is not super updated. If you are looking for character this is your place. If you are looking for super modem amenities this is not the hotel for you.

Staff let me hold my bags there before check in and after check out. They were very helpful, and gave great recommendations. If you're looking for a holiday inn... that's not what this is. It's a historic house turned to a hotel..So it has charm and is not a modern feel. The hot tub and pool was amazing, and very close to everything! I had a wonderful experience!
