First impressions count - a 50 minute queue to Check-In followed by a long winded process where we had to email our booking details to the hotel. Make sure you have We also had to pay a Euro deposit to use a plastic cup at the rooftop pool bar, this seemed to confuse some people.
Long wait for the slow and old lifts - they need replacing, we walked 7 flights of stairs several times a day.
The all inclusive options were poor. We chose to go and eat away from the hotel instead on most days. The snack menu in between the meal times was barely worth the effort.
At the pool bar they had just one flavour of crisps in a box and peanuts. That was it, no hot food snacks.
On the roof there is a reasonably sized area with sunbeds. A nice sun trap. The only down side we had were kids who kept playing football around the sunbeds unsupervised by parents. They even lost a ball over the side which probably landed on the roadside below. Please BAN ball games on the roof, or designate this an adult only area so that the space can be enjoyed.
Our room was fairly clean though we had an inward view which also had no mobile signal. WiFi was terrible and unusable most of the time.
The hotel has potential, invest in new lifts, new WiFi, improve the food and modernise the slow check-in process, and it could be so much better, even for a cheap budget hotel. The staff are great and do a good job
Would we return? Based on this stay, unfortunately no. We'd pay a little more to stay elsewhere.
