Great location for exploring Malmo

Great location in Old Town. Short walk from train station but quiet at night time. Interesting old building. We chose a small double room. It was very small! Next time would choose a larger room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.

Perfect and romantic little room. We’ve stayed here before and it’s always a joy to come back. Lovely and historic decor, and historic information at every turn. Breakfast served in extraordinary cellar halls. And real scrambled eggs, not the carton stuff u get in most hotels. Minibar, room service and all the comforts you expect from a high end hotel. The only thing I could fault is the “bar”, it doesn’t really have one. But there is a restaurant where u can get a cold one if you’re not up for leaving the premises at all…

The hotel looked like it had potential, but seemed worn and outdated. The front desk staff was very welcoming. But there were multiple cleanliness issues with the room itself, such as the bathroom didn't look properly clean and some stains on the sheets. The breakfast was not great, although the basement is visually appealing. We stayed two nights and ended up going somewhere else for breakfast on the second morning.

Nice atmosphere - poor cleaning

Nice atmosphere, nice room. Matress a bit soft. Nice breakfast, good selection. Cleaning was not the best … carpet with hair from previous guests, bin in bathroom not emptied, so we ‘shared’ garbage with previous guests - rather groce. Can of soft drink in the minibar had expired … so check date before you take anything from the fridge. Front desk just noted down what we reported …. not especially apologetic.

Staff fantastic!! That said, this was one of the strangest hotels I've stayed in. It's steeped in history and it's clear the owner wants to pass on their knowledge and love for the hotel and it's history (dating back to 1200s) but it was a little bit much with all the notes everywhere, in every room, on every wall. It would have been enough to leave a history of the hotel booklet in the room and one in the library. There was also art everywhere in the hotel, making the impression a little messy and not so relaxing. Our room was ok, it was in the attic. The sloping ceilings made it a little trickier to get into the bed. The decor was completely mis-matched and so it didn't feel that relaxing. TV quite small but adequate. There was a kettle but the cable was too short to plug it in so I had to use the radiator as a table when I wanted to make a hot drink. Location excellent!!

Awesome place. 2 blocks from train station. Easy walk. Very interesting photos and information inside hotel. Very cool building. Highly recommend staying here rather than Copenhagen if you are heading to airport.

Gammalt fint hotell.

Fint och mysigt hotell i Gamla stan. Nära till järnvägsstationen. Nära till torgen inne i stan. Vi var och såg ett evenemang på arenan då var det smidigt med stationen i närheten. Frukosten var bra. Det fanns allt👍 Gammalt och anrikt hotell.
