Just do it!
The guest house is just onto the island and is walking distance to the little town of Kyle of Lochalsh and Kyleside. Definitely walk the bridge over and the Plock. There is an old ruined castle you can only get to at low tide. So much to do on Isle of Skye…

This hotel was very good and the room was spotless, a bonus was the breakfast range in the room which included porridge and the famous tunnocks tea cake , I would stay here again .

Will stay again
We had a lovely and comfortable stay. Really pleased with it after a long day of driving from a road trip.

There was no staff at the facility and the bedding accommodations we set up differed from our request.

Well located between Isle of Skye and Port William for scenic routes and hikes. Fire alarm went off at 11:30 pm and management took time to show up and fix the situation despite being ‘on premises.’ Cute family room set up with two separate areas for kids/parents. However requesting housekeeping that took out trash daily required a follow-up phone call. Overall pleasant stay but can be improved in several aspects.

8/10 Very good

The carpet was not tacked down and on one wall, pulled away from baseboard. The bathroom vinyl flooring planks have popped out and in some areas, poking up so I had to lay a town down as to not hurt my feet. No plug in the fitted bathroom for hairdryer. The bed was comfy but way too expensive to have popping and cracking floors. They should fix it quickly before mold gets up under the planks. Cereal, milk, and tea privided. It's a self catered facility and did not see any staff.

The bathroom was very dirty and the shower had plumbing issues that caused it to backflow all the toilet and basin dirt into it. We couldn't take a shower or use the bathroom at all. I have pictures

The renovations were nice and the beds were comfortable. It was a bit cold at night and the shower ran out of hot water quickly but otherwise it was comfortable.

6/10 Good

The property was easy to find, and easy to access. Parking was in front of the rooms. Communication with the property managers was OK. The rooms have several drawbacks: All our windows had some sort of issue. The carpet looked pretty old, not sure if it is or not, but there was a smell in the room that I would attribute to the carpet. There is no space in the bathroom to put anything. There were only two mugs in the room, no glasses. One bed had a night lamp, the other didn't. The beds were supposed to be one king, they were not (they did offer to come and put them together, but we declined). Very basic everything. We had an amazing experience just one day prior in Inverness, at a similar price.

Quiet and clean place. Town is very small and with limited options. The facility is operated without any human contact with staff which is a bit alienating
