6 Dec 2025Staff was very helpful. Hotel is perfectly positioned. On site parking was a boon. Breakfast set us up for a whole day. Room was very dusty unfortunately with quite a few cobwebs but that wouldn't stop me from coming here again.

16 Nov 2025Room was clean and comfortable and decor traditional and comforting but smaller than I thought. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do more for you. The breakfast was nice but took a time to come out as it was very busy and felt a little crowded. However I still felt worthy of going back.

10 Dec 2025shower disappointing and wouldn’t be very good for anyone taller than me at 5 foot! But bed was comfy and room was clean

3 Nov 2025The hotel was fine, but the room faced the pub opposite which was quite noisy. As was the road. Maybe to be expected with a hotel in this location. Breakfast was lovely. A great fry up. The idea of handing in key to reception when going out was a bit strange. I didn't like that. I want to come and go without fuss.
