Runavik is a small town of a couple of thousand people and this was definitely the best place to stay in town. It was modern, clean with good sizes rooms. But it was also limited - the restaurant only served sandwiches and burgers in the evening ( but the breakfast was excellent) and the TV only had a few channels, all in Danish. But it was well located, just yards from the tunnel entrance, was a short walks from a beautiful lake and had plentiful free car parking.

The room is very small in this hotel. There is no air conditioning in this hotel. Therefore, guests have to open the windows all night long during summertime. You may hear chickens being killed after midnight if your room is located behind the hotel.

Room and bathroom smelled very bad when you just get in. Also when I checked out staff tried to charged me one more time for the room stay amount, but there are good food in Hotel restaurant.

Hôtel avec places de parc devant et à proximité. Lieu calme. Rapport qualité-prix convenable, petit bémol uniquement 2 capsules à café offertes pour 4 jours, les autres sont payantes. A mon avis un hôtelier faisant ce genre d'économie n'a rien compris.

Hyggelig ældre hotel. Værelserne er nyrenoverede og har en fin størrelse. Morgenmaden lækker. 😋 Fantastisk personale, der altid var klar til at hjælpe. Et godt alternativ til at bo i Tórshavn, da tunnelen gør at man hurtig er i Hovedstaden. Kommer gerne igen

Ophold på hotel Runavik.
Hotellet i Runavik var Ok. Vi boede der i en uge. Tænker at vi godt kunne have brugt rengøring på toilet og bad og skiftet håndklæder og sengetøj. Dette skete ikke i hele den uge, hvor vi boede på hotellet. Personalet var venligt og imødekommende.

It is a decent, clean hotel at a convenient location. It's a good base for exploring the surrounding area. The rooms were pretty standard and clean. Our room was at the front and that was rather noisy, because it is located on a fairly busy road. The people at the front desk and at the breakfast service were very friendly and helpful.
