Shortened review due to char limit
Left disappointed for a 4-star. Didn’t have energy to report all issues; maintenance should be ensured. On a positive, staff friendly, helpful, addressed items raised. Checking in/out was seamless. Lobby pleasant and good to see complementary fruit and water available. Issues:
•Fridge didn’t work. Extra given.
•Carpet had some dirt and debris.
•Safe battery was low, replaced.
•No robes or slippers. Presumed would be considering spa available to all & 4*. Before realising not included with superior room, housekeeping provided some albeit evidently worn.
•Above bathroom towel rad - label instructing contact reception to operate. Whilst energy costs have risen & mindful of environment, a request to guests for responsible usage would suffice - similar as towel re-use. Since switch was in wardrobe, label could have read “switch in wardrobe”. Consider swimwear drying machine in spa changing rooms to reduce usage.
•No instant coffee sachets/bags.
•Milk sachets & pods not replenished.
•Noise from adjoining room till 4-5am. Not hotel’s fault per se but sound dampening or security patrol could help. At minimum transparency when allocating adjoining room (as was not in any literature or communicated)
•Rods that control curtains (privacy & blackout) not present one side.
•Access cards stopped working after first night.
•Questionable cleanliness of steam bath.
•Drinking water not kept topped up in the spa relaxation room & no glasses available either occasion we used it.
