Spacious room with amazing views. Nice seating area with table and chairs. Bed and pillows rock hard and very uncomfortable. Bathroom dated with discoloured grouting and sealant. Ceiling lights excessively bright and fittings clinical. Bedside lamps a nice touch but each had different colour/wattage bulbs.

A really lovely hotel in a fantastic lakeside location & the staff were all really helpful & friendly. King size bed, really comfortable with lovely pillows. Can’t rate this hotel highly enough, would definitely stay here again.

First night there fire alarm went off then power went of in room 😱 no heating no hot water I spoke to reception only to get told it’s out of there control , and nothing they can do 3 hrs later it came back on , went for something to eat and was told some of the kitchen equipment was also of and limited what food we could have 😱 the second night power went off again 😡 again I asked reception what’s going on as wife was in shower when it happened no lights or hot water not happy woman with shampoo on hair and cold water 😡 , I asked to speak with a manager only to be told it was his night off 😡😡 the room was ok but pipe work was making some loud cracking noises to which gave u a fright at times , it’s a shame as views are fantastic but could not put up with hassle we had so can’t recommended to anyone or stay there again 😡😡

I stayed in a deluxe king room with a view. The view was amazing! We had a nice e little deck. The hotel dining was convenient and the food was pretty good. The full Scottish Breakfast was great! The bed was firm, which wasn't my preference but my husband liked it. I would stay here again.

I booked my trip at the last minute and an overnight camp in the wild, we had the most wonderful hotel waiting for us. I’ve traveled to many places and stayed in many hotels. This is a really special place and historic building. I loved every minute of my stay, thank you!
