Renovation
We showed up to a room that was getting renovated. Not impressed at all. We were unable to get our refund. The only way that we weren’t going to loose our money was to upgrade our room. At first I wanted nothing to do with this building. Luckily the second room we got was not under renovation. In the end it all worked out. But I had to miss the first period of the hockey game that we came out to see.

Clean and value for money
One major problem was that there is no one at the site; and on ehas to find their office first to enter the hotel - NOT good if you arrive late evenings. Also, not having anyone on site is worrying for anyone new to Calgary - no one to ask for help, no one to get you a taxe...

Cold Comfort
Heat in the apartment was turned to minimum and took days to come up to about 20 degrees.

Amazing location
Great location. Loved the suite. The tv I could not control the volume and the couch had a footprint on it from previous guest.

Average and noisy
The windows of the condo I had faced an extremely noisy lane at night and the windows didn't seal compounding the noise problem. The blinds didn't function well either. So sleep was hard to come by. The condo was fine, clean, nothing special but then its cheap so it was exactly as expected. A different condo in the same building might have a different noise outcome, but I'd suggest if you are looking for inexpensive condo, try a different location.

Felt more like a hostel than hotel - no deadbolt d
The check in is in a different building a few streets away. This is not clear when you arrive. They take and hold a 500 dollar preauthorization for damage even days after your stay, which is extreme. The building is poorly marked if you are not looking you will miss it. Parking is limited and very expensive if you use the 5 parking stalls at the building (22 dollars). Room we stayed in had no dead bolt and we felt unsafe as there was a violent altercation outside our room and could not secure our door outside using the code "lock". Doors slamming all night, people knocking on our door, busy/loud back street = no sleep. Inside room was OK clean but felt very used and not fresh. Should have stayed somewhere else for the 154 dollar we were charged.

Good with minor issues
I really enjoyed my stay here, was a good location only 5 blocks for downtown events. The place was easy to find and get into. Not having to carry around an extra set of keys was a bonus I didn't expect. There were problems such as parking there is only 5 stalls out but with indigo parking, and street parking was scares. Pillows could have had been better they were thin and had to use botg to sleep comfortablely.

Ok
It was ok. Wasn't clear that check-in was at a different building. It was nice of them to allow us early check-in due to a wedding we were attending that evening. Location is good for downtown access, but gets a little sketchy in the evening.

Central Calgary
Expedia lists the actual location of the hotel, but never tells you the check in place where you are given access is a different spot. (needed to call the number and get address). If your in a uber or taxi this can be an extra cost. They use Codes to let you into the building and room. The building code was correct, I had to wait 20 minutes for a maintenance guy to give me the correct code to my room because the initial code was wrong. They have a one unit washer/dryer - the washer part does well, don't expect clothes to be dry, needed to set them out and dry outside of dryer. The remote control for the TV didn't contain batteries.

There is reason that the place is inexpensive
It's a very old low raise condo. It is inexpensive but lots of trade-off. The bed is not comfortable, very noisy neighbourhood (next to restaurants and parking lots) and no A/C.

Nice but needs to be more clear
I stayed at the 15th av Condos and rented a bachelor for 3 nights, mid week. The price was cheaper compared to the hotels and the location was decent and would be have been really great but I had a few issues. First, they never said that the reception/checking was in a separate building, several blocks away. If I hadn't of kept my rental car, which was purely by luck, it would have taken me a cab down and back wth all my stuff. When I asked the receptionist why I didn't get notified and why it wasn't in BOLD when I made the reservation, she said she tried to call me, which I had no missed calls after I confirmed the number she had, and she said she emailed me, of which I did not receive. I did however receive and email asking my how my check-in went... strange. Anyways, the locks are keyless so she gave me the Code and off I went. FYI 500$ damage deposit! I came back the first day and noticed that someone had been in my condo to patch a couple holes in the door, which I was ticked off about because I didn't want anyone in the room, but there was no 'do not disturb ' sign available. All in all, it was nice to stay in a condo vs a hotel but the hallways were noisy and seemed kinda sketchy overall.

Great Location and Large Space
This is very well located just south of 17th Ave and 4th Street . With lots of restaurants and breakfasts places . The staff were excellent and the suite was very clean . It's a low rise so it's easy to get in and out of the suite but it's not great if you are have a lot or heavy luggage .

Great location, spacious and comfortable
This suite was clean, spacious, and really well located- I liked being able to walk to 17th avenue to explore, and my office downtown was only a 10 minute walk. It is a great budget option that I would stay in again.

A polished turd
The building its self looked like a half renovated crack house. Entry was old creaky and smelly. The room it's self was ok but not for that price. You had to actually check in about 5 blocks away from the actual apartment. They hold a $500 security deposit for over a week for an absolute dive of a place where an average hotel only takes $150 and returns it sooner. The parking at the back of the building which should be free is charged at an additional $15 a day and it's in the back alleyway where the car is sure to be broken into and is right next to the path where they run the laundry trolley down of which the guy ran the trolley into my car three times. And finally the room was advertised for $80 a night BUT if I wasn't totally paying attention after paying and realising after Expedia puts on their charge and a cleaning fee. The room ended up being $226 or so. Now for the same price we could have stayed at the remade with secure parking

Not so good. Noises could easily be heard from the hallway. The bed creaked, which kept waking me in my sleep, and the television had very few channels. Lastly, check-in was at a separate location, several kilometres away.

Don't do it
Got charged extra fees that were over 50% of the room cost. They wouldn't cancel after booking. Could not check in before 4 or after 9. Had to check into a different location and then go 6 blocks to the run down condo they call a hotel. Just stay at a hotel.

Cold, dreary and scary to stay at alone....
Checked in with no knowledge an extra $60 in fees would be added to nightly rate. Room was cold, dreary and scary. Also very, very loud. I was 90% underground, which made it scarily easy for someone to crawl in through a window that was on the ground outside. Laundry also sisnt work and was given no notice of that (which was the BIG reason I picked this place) but the HASSLE of driving back to a different address (where you have to check in) to ask for a room change wasn't worth it. No TV in room. No couch in living space- only 2 cold chairs. Awful experience for first time and only night in Calgary.
