Thought the location was excellent, within easy walking distance to the attractions. The only downside was that the parking was a bit of a challenge. There’s not much available close to the hotel and you have to be lucky to find a decent spot.

The best place to stay in Catania
I can't say enough about this place. It is so well located that we were able to walk to everything. It is located in what was once a palace and the decor reflects that. The staff at the front desk, especially Gessica, were amazing. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The breakfast had quite a good assortment of foods. In particular the cakes and tortes, handmade by Stefania, were truly delicious and special. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Catania.

The hotel was excellent. At first blush, it appeared underwhelming, but we soon found out that it’s great. It’s located close to center if Catania, and there are several places to eat within walking distance.

Excellent costumer service, Reception staff were very warm , welcoming, helpful, and very comunicative. Cleanness was excellent too . The ladies , always with the smile in their face . The breakfast section felt very homey , simple but fitful. Stefania has an excellent costumer service skills. This hotel definitely deserves five stars for all the beautiful staff . Definitely will come back again.

Staff very helpful and professional. The structure lacks of regular maintenance, high level of humidity and some stains here and there. Lovely small rooftop usable more in Spring and Summer though. Possibility of parking the car providing you book the slot in advance. Very central.

We had room at 3rth floor and my opinion is based on that room. Locatiopn is very good but that's all. One night hotel, not two. I can't imagine to stay in summer because the air condition blow air directly to the bed. Wc didn't flash, and of the story!

Good location, breakfast and clean rooms. Getting in and out of hotel after hours is a pain. You have to ring the lobby and if no one is around, then it can take a while to get in.

Terrible hotel with no electricity
Dirty hotel in a horrible neighbourhood. There was no electricity so the lift didn’t work! Reception is on the 4th floor. No way was I going to risk my life lugging heavy suitcases up 4 floors in the dark. We cancelled booking and will get a refund via my card issuer. Do not stay here ever,

Great place to stay
Very central. Nice and clean inside (do not judge the first glance outside!) Great staff (e.g. Massimo on reception was so professional, friendly, helpful, breakfast service on saturday, July 23rd. She was so friendly, fast, professional, baked great fresh stuff). Beautiful breakfast on top balcony. Rooms were ok. One of the them next to reception a little loud sometimes as -e.g. - next door neighbours got home at two a.m. in the morning and took shower till 3 a.m.. Hotel is environmental friendly. Separates garbage, user renewable energy, not much plastic. Hotel is most recommandable. We will be back!
