Ocean views to die for,

It is like staying on a small luxury liner with the boat rocking. Charming art deco hotel with rooms with terrace that literally look over the water. Charming staff in a cute neighborhood outside old town. Excellent dinner.

Beachfront divine location

It was such a spectacular location with a beautiful view right on the beach. The old town about a 20 minute pleasant walk away. The large balcony was superb and there was no noise aside from the sea. The English spoken was limited but adequate. I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel. Also breakfast was very good. Thank you.

it’s all about the sea views. If we hadn’t had a room with a sea view I think we would have rated this hotel as middling at best. The bedrooms are small and could do with a bit of cosmetic updating. The beds are narrow though not uncomfortable. However when you look out of your window and have the changing play of light on the water literally 5 metres away, and can watch the tide rising and falling on the beautiful long beach, everything else seems irrelevant. The staff are very nice and helpful too. It’s easy to walk to many cafes and restaurants.

Charming Hotel Great Value

I had a lovely time at the Hotel Le Beaufort from the minute I arrived until I checked out. The reception staff was warm and welcoming, as were the restaurant staff. I decided to change my room choice at the last minute, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. My room was a bay window first-floor room with a tub. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed comfortable, and the view and little veranda were absolutely worth the extra cost. I ate at the restaurant and was very pleased with my meal. The skate was especially delicious - cooked perfectly with warmly spiced grains. The dinner was an excellent value. I would absolutely come back to this charming hotel when staying in Saint-Malo. It is an excellent value.

Traveling with a young family I reserved parking in advance but found it very limited for a car with roof box as the height was too tall. I had asked in advance for height of parking, and was told they couldn’t confirm this, but if there was an issue we could park outside. It took 1.5 hours for a parking space outside to become available. Unfortunately the WiFi didn’t reach into the family room (room 5) so we couldn’t use it. The room also suffered from road noise. Including taxes and an additional occupancy fee, we paid 342 Euro (peak season) which given the issues is more than the hotel is worth. On previous trips to St Malo we have stayed in the old town and along the north front in other hotels, I will return to one of those in future.

Was not informed prior to booking that parking had to be reserved. Was in a garage over 4 blocks away so not very convenient. Garage was short and our SUV only just went in - a larger saloon car would not. Receptionist very helpful but service in the restaurant was terrible. Very slow and tables not served in order of arrival. Didn’t like back door to hotel opening into restaurant.

When we walked in, we were welcomed with great enthusiasm, The proprietor and receptionist were so helpful in trying to find us parking. And wouldn't stop until they solved the problem. I've never seen this in a hotel. They were so warming accommodating. The room was very small but it had a large balcony right on the beach with the board walk out the back side of the hotel. The bathroom was updated with a very nice shower. Had an elevator which for an old building was unusual. The dinning room also served food all day. The renovations they did very very well done. I would highly recommend this hotel for bothe the location and the amenities. Expensive, though!

Incroyable week-end à Saint-Malo. Nous avions une chambre avec terrasse vue sur mer et accès direct à la plage. Quel bonheur de pouvoir sortir de la chambre et faire notre footing le long de la plage ! La chambre était spacieuse, le lit gigantesque et nous avons très bien dormi malgré le fait que ce soit 2 matelas rapprochés. Nous n’avons pas ressenti de creux entre les matelas. Très belle expérience

Vi börjar med det som var fantastiskt. Personalen jättetrevlig och välkomnande. Sedan läget på hotellet direkt vid stranden alldeles underbart. Det som var lite mindre bra var luften eller snarare brist på ventilation och luft. Att det inte var någon aircondition får ju vi ta på oss då vi inte kontrollerade. Men ett absolut måste var att ha fönster eller balkongdörr öppen vilket kändes sådär då vi befann oss bottenplan.Nu var där september men kan gissa hur det upplevs i juni-juli. Finns även lite logistikproblem vid frukosten då det är mycket folk. Lite för litet, och svårt för personalen att fylla på vilket märktes. Kanske man skall dela upp den i två block som får bokas. Trots de senare delarna kommer vi gärna tillbaka, gärna en våning upp🤗
