Located very conveniently to the motorways. Nice size room, lovely bathroom. My only criticism was the lack of air conditioning the room was so hot.

Lovely large clean room. Best thing was the fan which they provided in the heat wave...much apprciated. Staff on reception and Spa were smiley and pleasant. Spa area and pool were very nice, towels were provided. Very easy access from M6

Swimming pool ok but shallow end was very shallow. Steak room was excellent size and temp, larger than most.

6/10 Good

Sound proofing in rooms was awful. There was also a huge hair in the bathroom sink when I arrived. Plenty of positives too - helpful staff, great gym and swim facilities, spacious room and bathroom, comfy bed.

Very warm welcome. Room was clean and a good size. Never had a chance to use the spa. The garden looked very nice and well kept. Breakfast good. Will definitely be back.

4/10 Fair

Room floor squeaked all over. Terribly noisy for us and anyone in the room below. Damaged iron cable too. Breakfast is a complete rip off at £16 each for poor ingredients, poor selection, luke-warm and not hot buffet. We were told by breakfast staff that 'because we booked via third party (Trivago) that we had to pay for breakfast' in a very condescending manner. Need to up the customer service guys. On a positive note, evening meal in the restaurant was good.

8/10 Very good

Room was newly renovated and very spacious. Gym and pool were excellent, best gym I’ve ever seen as a hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we slept awfully, the hotel/room above us was so noisy. All we could hear all evening and through the night was the tv, banging and snoring.

Entire property well maintained clean Breakfast buffet style seemed a little over priced Reception staff and room attendants were fabulous Spa underwhelming more akin to a gym facility which is the main use perhaps but none the less clean not crowded and convenient and good value as included in room price
