We loved our stay here - we had a room with terrace it was spacious with a a really comfortable bed I loved the style of the room and hotel in general being in a beautiful old building, the breakfast is nice simple but plenty enough - daily fruits, yogurt, scrambled eggs and bacon , cold meats , cheese toast croissant and fresh cakes Also you have free drinks in your room and a help yourself cafe area which is always open with simple snacks and drinks, lots of lounge areas throughout I would recommend when in Barcelona

Very interesting hotel, unlike any I've been in. Great overall experience. Loved the free Nespresso coffee and snacks. We had room 18 which was at the very end of the hall, which was great because there was no through traffic past our door, so it was quiet. The street outside however, could be a bit loud. Merce24 just started so it was a late night party and it seemed to be just outside the window. Obviously not the properties fault, just keep in mind it can be loud. The area is great and walkable.

This was a nice clean and quiet hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice. My only complaint was that there were steps to the bathroom and no hand rail which was not safe for my elderly mother. If accesibility isn’t a concern i highly recommend this hotel.

Fab vibe. All the features were great. Hallways were quirky. Stairwell striking! The communal self serve ‘tea/coffee’ areas are a great idea. Rooms were super comfortable. Loved the balcony to watch the world go by first thing in the morning. A very cool area to stay in & so many things walkable in Barcelona. The shower is screened so sharing with my daughter was no problem with us at all. Will recommend & would try your other locations on another visit!

Fun interior and great rooms.
Great location near old city but not too close, very touristy though (for all old city area). Interior decorations were fun, separate small gym, separate hangout area with coffee tea water and even ice. Room was a good size, shower drain was blocked but it was fixed next day. They forgot to refill the soap though. Nice little balcony overlooking streets.

Quirky, Clean, Great Location
Staff was receptive and informative. The hotel has a quirky, but cool vibe probably most appreciated by couples and younger guests. We had a lovely patio with a sitting cove accessible through French doors in our room. Lots of amenities like coffee, tea, still and water with gas. Also lots of comfortable open areas if you want to chill outside your room. The location is excellent—walking distance to museums, parks, the marina and lots of eateries and bars. The only drawback is that the walls are very thin and if any love is being made, you will hear about it.

The position was great, easy walk to most things and close to transport. The hotel was ok. Considering the cost of the shoulder season room, there could have been more amenities. As a solo traveler, the room size was fine, would have been a struggle with 2 people. The AC is not controllable in the room as it a central cooling/heating system so I had to ask for an extra doona as my room was freezing. There is no safe or fridge in the room, which is disappointing. You can access a safe in reception but that’s quite inconvenient. No fridge meant I couldn’t buy any snacks that needed refrigeration. The room doors need to be adjusted as they slam when closing. I found it very annoying to have doors banging at all hours of the night. The room cleaner was excellent. The coffee/tea break out area was also good. Would I stay there again? Probably not, I’d shop around first.

If you like funky, this hotel is for you. The location can’t be beat, in the thick of the historic district of Barcelona. Food, food and more food choices literally at the hotel’s doorstep. Their breakfast offering was just a notch above basic, with scrambled eggs and bacon in addition to the usual cold offerings. Their small patio offers cold drinks after a hot day sightseeing. Beware, as their Sangria packs a punch! Friendly, helpful staff. Would recommend wholeheartedly. Pedro Canada
