The staff was super friendly! Very welcoming. Our main purpose is to see the city. We simply sleep there for 7hrs and leave. It had everything we needed.

Two positives about this property. It was clean and the location. If you would like to get some sleep, DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY! Regardless of what you read about sound proofing, our room was not. Screaming, yelling, chanting coming from the bar below until the early hours of the morning almost every night.

Great location to cafes/next to Irish Pub!!!!
Check in was great, speedy and Giovanni was very helpful took out a map, marked close by areas to go ck out, walked us to the room (not in the check in spot) and explained all that needed. The morning ws loud with some banging and loud noise going on in the hallway so after being out all day and tired the loudness at 8-10am was not appreciated. The room was as expected, small but we knew that. The pictures do no match as far as the comforters, decor etc but the rest of it was on point. Also the site showed "iron/iron board" and there wasn't one to be found but we didn't call or ask for one so maybe that is the key. Overall except the noise in the early morning all was GREAT!

Small Rooms above the bar restaurant
- Rooms were not the same as the photos, tiny rooms with very little space and ventilation - Air conditioning was not functioning - Breakfast was bad, packaged toast with drink and a croissant with jam and chocolate spread. - Unable to upgrade breakfast for the difference in price (had to pay full) - Would recommend staying elsewhere - Wouldn’t have stayed here had we known the AC was broken (no compensation provided)

Nice hotel in good location
I recently stayed here with my family. Expedia messed up and sent me to the wrong address for check-in but LUCKY FOR ME, Ana from Flann O'Brien directed me to the Pub for checkin. We liked the room, it's location as perfect. We felt safe in the room and there were plenty of places to eat nearby: McDonalds is on the corner as was the bus line and the Republica metro station- although we used the buses for everything (download the "Rome 2 Rio" app to help you get around town, it was awesome). Ana gave us a map and circled where everything was and also told us what areas to stay out of. Overall it was great and we'd definitely stay again.

Location is the BEST
Was our first time in Rome, so we were looking for great location. The rooms are in walkable distance from major attractions and the main thing, from Rome Termini. Great service and rooms are very comfortable. Downstairs the Irish Pub is always a good spot to start the day with breakfast included, and as guest you get a discount on lunch/dinner. Recommended 100%

Nice hotel for the price
The room was comfortable and bigger than I expected. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small (to be expected in Rome) but fine, the only complaint, if I had one, was that I could not get the towel warmer to work after the 2nd night, but it came on again on our 6th night in the room. The location was in a great location to walk to many different tourist areas in under 15 minutes. Housekeeping did a great job of tidying up our room daily, and the staff we interacted with were always helpful and pleasant.

dirt cheap hotel in rome
i was staying for one night so i didn't need much. The hotel was clearly apart of an Irish Bar and was thinking that it was on top of the pub, but I was wrong. I had to lug my suit case across the street and up another street to where they seemed to rent a flat but converted it into multiple hotel rooms. There was an elevator and the place was on the second floor. The hotel staff that walked me to my hotel was very clear on which ket to use for what door. I had a set of 4! the room itself was clean but needed a facelift as there was drywall missing and cracks in the tiles. The shower was super small, no way you can bend down to clean your feet. The bed was comfy and that is all I really needed. The free breakfast was nothing more then a piece of toast and a cup of coffee, I went down the street and got a proper breakfast. you get what you paid for!

Great location
All the amenities were reasonable. Anna and her male helper were very nice and helpful. Towels are exchanged on alternate days, but this seems a custom in Italy! Rooms at Via Venezia are in a quite area, though you have to walk about three/four minutes and cross Via Nazionale, which is very busy traffic wise, to go to the Irish Pub for 'breakfast'. 'Breakfast' itself is very very basic and croissants are on a first come first served basis. Location is quite central. Overall we had a good stay and would consider using this BB again in future.

Very good location and very good value for the ser
The Hotel is located in middle of all attractions in Rome which you can go everywhere just by walking and also very closed to metro station Once we arrived, we had some difficulty to find the Hotel as the room is in different street than the front desk, During the check in , once I found that the Hotel is in other street I had the feeling that I`ve been cheated ,but once we get into Hotel I found it very comfortable like my Home Definitely if I travel again to Rome I will choose this Hotel and Highly recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Rome By the way, need to mention that the quality of Breakfast which is included in the Room is very poor and you need to go to the restaurant in other street for the breakfast

Another happy customer! I will be back!
First of all--the service provided by Anna is out of this world! This was my first time to Rome & I came alone--she answered all of the my questions before and during my stay, and made sure that I could get to the places I wanted to go. The hotel is in a very safe part of town that is centrally located by a stop on the metro. I was able to walk down to the ancient part of Rome in 15 minutes or so. The room is in a beautiful old building that has been refurbished. The room has a little refrigerator, and a safe for your valuables, and a nice closet space to store your things out of the way. Also, very clean and tidy--breakfast in the morning is continental, but yummy. The only suggestion: please put in tea making stations in the rooms--that was the only drawback I found. Otherwise, I'll be back!
