I didn’t stay. There was no person in the lobby to check me in when I arrived at approximately 6:15 pm. I decided to stay with a friend instead. I called the hotel later and was told they would cancel my reservation.

This is an old property with new owners. It must be difficult getting into the business with old "bones". I wish them well. Tweeking could include an elevator, re-set the rooms to more modern standards (can't offer a whole lot of suggestions in this small space), bathroom updates (a paint job isn't enough). Must add that the "staff" of one made a great welcome and he was very helpful. Quite casual.

2/10 Poor

This hotel moved us to another hotel, The Siesta Inn, and when we walked into the room at the Siesta Inn, there was leftover food on the table. It was of questionable cleanliness, and it really was a dive, without the amenities of the Nechako Valley Inn. So the Nechako Valley Inn can suffer the review. Very DISAPPOINTING. Will never accept a substituted inn again.

Great safe clean friendly place to stay
My son was on a trip to Denali national Park and stayed at the Naco Inn in Vanderhoof after 12 hours on the road from Vancouver. I wanted to say how great his stay was from the moment we booked the reservation we felt like we were getting five star service. They welcomed my son by name when he arrived took excellent care of him. He told me that the Wi-Fi was brilliant and the hotel was located close to many services all at walking distance and there was a lounge next-door. He said he slept like a baby in their bed. He was traveling with a lot of belongings in his car, and we were very pleased to hear that the hotel had security cameras all throughout the parking lot of the hotel. Thanks to the advice of a worker at the hotel, my son was able to catch one of his largest bull trout fish only a short distance from the hotel and this made his trip so good after a 12 hour day of driving from Vancouver. I was very glad to have him in a safe location so far away from home . The hotel staff communicated so well & even shared where to get a great breakfast close by. The rooms were very clean and I would highly recommend this accommodation. Hayley Higgins San Diego, Ca

The host was friendly and was prompt in contacting repair services when needed. Once signed in there was no staff at the front desk. You reach the host by telephoning the hotel. The rooms are on the 2nd floor which are accessed by stairs only. This may be an issue for someone with mobility issues. This is an older hotel in need of some renovation but we found it clean and the beds comfortable. There are trains which need to whistle at a nearby intersection so packing earplugs may be a good idea.

The room was very clean with comfy beds, front desk was very friendly and accomodating. The location made it more great as its very close to all restaurants. Definitely would come again.
