We had to make a big deal to get an upgrade. The person at the front desk tried very hard, assuring us that there were no available rooms for the upgrade. When we spoke with her supervisor, we found out that this was not the case. In addition, speaking with the cleaning personnel, they confirmed that there were plenty of superior rooms available. It is not fair that this is used to concrete a sale, but then disregarded at the point of check in

Great resort near Dubrovnik
This is an amazing property that is a short drive or Uber to the Old Town. Spectacular views of the Adriatic and the islands. Great amenities and restaurants even though it was near the end of their season. My wife and I are travelling for 9 weeks and needed haircuts. We had them cut on the property and were very happy with our cuts and service. The buffet breakfast has a great selection of items and should be able to satisfy everyone's needs and wants. 4 pools in the property, one for adult's only. The staff is the best part of the stay. All were very friendly, polite and attentive. We want to thank all the staff from check in to check out for our great treatment. They all made this a very memorable experience for both of us.

We’ve absolutely enjoyed our stay at Sun Gardens. We stayed in an apartment and it was in an amazing state. Has everything you need and you can always ask reception for any requests like cleaning hours, how often cleaning happens etc. We stayed here with a 1 year old and we enjoyed the pools, restaurants and transportation options offered. Everything was in a very good state and people were very friendly. The only downsides of the hotel were the pool temperature outside and inside. For children the indoor pool is a little on the cool side and the outside pool is non heated so if the weather has been bad, it’s way too cold for children to play in the pool. Would be nice if that was heated for the little ones. The other downside was the grocery store at the hotel. I get that things are more expensive due to the nature of the hotel and the convenience but the prices are inflated too much. If you have an apartment you really can’t do proper grocery shopping without questioning your sanity at the til. I mean 8 euros for a tray of mushroom… really? But besides that I would say it’s amazing and we enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff, good facilities, great restaurant and amazing accommodation
