I booked this as a celebration of our 10th wedding anniversary. I chose the romantic package which included the use of private spa and the massages. The room was as described, stunning views. The hotel was peaceful and it was a bliss to just hear the bells of sheep's collars. The food was tasty. The massages were refreshing and added to a very relaxing weekend. It was like a detox from the outside world.
There were however, a few disappointment points. First, in the spa there is a very much welcome coffee machine with real espresso pods. However, there were no expresso cups, only big plastic tumblers available.
Secondly, the romantic package promised a welcoming giftt. There was nothing when we arrived and I asked about it after returning from a walk to see the neighbourhood. It was disappointing to hear that the welcoming gift was a glass of wine served at the bar, between 7 pm and 7.30pm. That is when we left for our walk anc having asked for directions, we were told nothing about it. I was expecting a mini botle of any champagne to be honest.
Then, the coffee pods in the bedroom were not original nespresso pods. The hotel labels it self as adults only and no children older than 10 but we saw a couple with children, one clearly above 10, going into the spa. Finally, the contents in the mini bar were rather odd, lime two juices, two apples but only one bottle of sparkling water. We stayed in a less rated hotel the previous night and it was very good.
