Excellent Location.
Spotlessly clean, ideally located for Piazzale Roma and a generous breakfast. The Wi-Fi on the second floor is not brilliant, but the rooms are clean and very well heated. I would certainly stay there again.

I wanted to stay here because I thought it was different from the hotel we stayed in in Milan. It is close to the station, we arrived by train, a super market is on the way as is a vaporetto stop. And the piazza Roma, 2 minutes away is where the coaches to and from airports and other cities start. It is in old building - this is Venice after all - the thick walls and shutters keep the building cool in the July 30°+ heat. The lift is very old and very slow but will get you and your luggage to the correct floor. The only drawback for me was that a cooling shower was quickly folliwed by feeling I was in a sauna before I could get dressed. There was air-conditioning and the bedroom was fine. I asked by email for dietary items for breakfast, the hotel confirmed they could supply and did. The single beds I also requested were ready when we arrived. For me the location was perfect and I would stay here again.

Overall, this was a nice property. The building's architecture is beautiful. I was lucky as the wasn't anyone else staying in the other room so I didn't have to share the bathroom. The mattress was a bit hard for my liking so the first night of sleep wasn't the greatest. I asked for a blanket to lay on top of and it made a huge difference. The room had air conditioning! The breakfast was included and tasted great!

2/10 Poor

Worst accommodation I have ever stayed in
The only redeeming quality about this hotel is the staff. They were outwardly very nice. When I arrived after 16 hours of travel and checked in the elevator wasn’t working, I had to walk with a lot of luggage up the stairs. Only one person was working so he was unable to help with the luggage to bring it all the way to the top floor. I got into the room, I couldn’t believe how bad it was. There was nothing aesthetic about it. The bed was so uncomfortable. Every time I would move the wood would make a bending noise which woke me up all night. I ordered a twin room so I knew the bed would be small, but the mattress was beyond uncomfortable. There was no padding to it at all. So between the uncomfortable mattress and this squeaking bedframe, I didn’t sleep well. If I had had my choice, I would’ve moved hotels, but it was midnight and I was tired from travel, and it would’ve been a very expensive change. I feel bad about writing such a negative review but this hotel is not meant for adult travelers and you should be warned.. I have actually stayed in €20 use hostels that were more comfortable.

Staff was nice , breakfast was a nice benefit and location was close to the train station. Nothing fancy, good for the price, just ask for a room that doesn’t open up to a pigeon poop roof 3 feet away. That was the only drawback because we couldn’t open the window for air.

Great stay, especially for the price
Had a pleasant stay. Appreciated finding a reasonably priced place in Venice and breakfast was provided. Staff were polite and professional, free breakfast in the morning was quite nice. The room was also reasonably spacious for being a converted monastery. The room only had basic amenities (just a bed, cabinet, and lights) and the elevator is very slow, neither of which was bothersome or concerning. We enjoyed our time there and will stay there again if we make it back to Venice.

The beds are horrible! That being said, we didnt travel to Venice for the hotel. An additional pillow or two would have been great. The shared bathroom situation was manageable. Each bathroom is shared with only one other room so its almost always available when needed.
