An amazing stay in oslo
The staff at the Guldsmeden were amazing . Anything we needed from information to travel adapters for our phones - they had it all and were always happy to help . The hotel was beautifully furnished and very homely and the breakfasts were amazing !!

This was our first stay at an eco conscious property and it was AMAZING. I will always try to book these hotels wherever they're available. The products, the towels, the toilet paper, everything was carefully chosen and the staff was exceptional.

Good but sauna not included!
Tiny bathroom but stocked with nice products. Bed was comfortable. Only nosiy one night. But they charge 450 NOK (€40) for the spa per hour. I thought it was too expensive. A pity because i had chosen the hotel for ths sauna.

+ Clean and cozy hotel all in all.
+ Great location, walking distance from nationaltheatret (train, tram and buses). There is also a bus that stops right outside the hotel (no. 21).
- No tv (we got moved to a room with a working tv on day three, but there was no information about this until I asked the receptionist).
- Thin walls, we could hear everything our neighbors did..
- Got woken up at 08:40am on the last day from drilling!!! I was supposed to sleep in til 10 as checkout was at 11:00, but I gathered all my stuff and got out of there as soon as I could because the walls was shaking and it was unbearable.
All in all it was a wonderful stay and the staff was so kind and helpful, but they only get three stars because of the lack of information and the disrespect of doing construction work so early, it is extra bad since they didn’t inform me of the tv or drilling.
And maybe they should offer chrome casts/appleTVs as they don’t have smart-tvs in the rooms with working tvs (only 2 channels, one Norwegian and one Swedish).

Koselig hotell og med bra beliggenhet, men litt små rom (men alt har sin pris). Hyggelig time i spa-avdelingen.
