On arrival we were greeted by a lovely young lady who helped us with our bags and made us feel incredibly welcomed. She began to tell us about the history of the hotel and show us some of its rooms which were absolutely stunning due to the new owners redesigning from top to bottom.
While our bags were on their way up to our room we were relaxing in the bar talking to our host and enjoying a complementary glass of cava. This was just the perfect start to a relaxing birthday retreat.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Absolutely beautiful and the decorations for Christmas were stunning. We loved spending time in the lounge area by the fire, the breakfast was very tasty and the hotel is in the perfect location. Would highly recommend.
My ownly fault, and this isnt unique to this hotel, is that we paid an additional price for our four month son to stay (which is expected). Then when checking in online, we were asked to pay an extra price for a cot. That's like...

We had a very short stay but it was really excellent. The farm cottage was spacious and clean. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was of high quality. The pool was a nice temperature (slightly heated) and area around was well tended.

Cannot think of one flaw and I've stayed at hotels all over the world. Beautiful hotel in a stunning location, only to be matched by the warmth of the hotel staff and the character of the rooms. I was going to stay in an AirBnb (I try to avoid chain hotels) but watched the movie "In Bruges" and saw a great deal on Expedia. It ended up being a brilliant decision. Staff are extremely warm, even bringing tea/waffles to my room very late at night. Only regret is I could only stay one night. Will...

The property is centrally located with all the major attractions within walking distance. The rooms are quite small but beautifully decorated. The hotel staff were very helpful with all the queries and always greeted us with a smile. The only concern is the parking facility at the property as there is no dedicated parking, but shouldn’t be a big concern as there are multiple parking facilities around the town which the lady at the reception was kind enough to guide us through it

This is a small hotel so it is nice and quiet. It was spotless. The owner was a very nice and friendly lady. We were given information about restaurants in the area. The hotel was close to the beach and the shops. The breakfast was a typical continental one, lovely. We were able to park right outside the hotel. We will definitely be going back there and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of having a nice quiet relaxing time in De Haan.

Easily the best small boutique hotel we’ve stayed at. Central location, beautiful decor, best breakfast ever! All in all a fantastic hotel. Be prepared for smaller rooms in Bruges. It’s part of the ‘old world’ charm. Our room was a Comfort Plus room and was perfectly adequate. Would stay here again in a heart beat!!!

Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit De Haan is between January and March, when hotel prices tend to be lower. To fully appreciate the area's key landmarks and cultural offerings, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. During this time, you can explore the stunning architecture, enjoy biking or golfing, and visit the beautiful natural parks and beaches. Moreover, you can immerse yourself in the local history by checking out monuments and attending performances at the theatre, all while enjoying great value for money.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals to De Haan on Hotels.com, begin by exploring the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Dealsopens in new window sections, where you may find discounted rates on hotels as your travel date approaches. Additionally, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, increasing your chances to save. The Smart Shoppingopens in new window tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed decisions. If rooms become available or prices drop, you'll be among the first to know, making it easier to plan your last-minute escape.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you find a more economical option for your stay in a De Haan hotel. For those seeking distinctive accommodation, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and can sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you uncover a more favourable deal.
Consider your location: Staying near key attractions or city centres can offer convenience, but it often comes with higher expenses. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, balancing cost with accessibility to the sights you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels further afield, which are usually likely to be more affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
