Great, no frills hotel. Room was clean and newly renovated. Perfect for a quick overnight stay. Close to several restaurants and casino. Would stay again.

Quiet, clean, close to shopping and few minutes from Mohegan casino. Wonderful woman at front desk was very helpful and pleasant. I decided to stay at this lodge since the casino was charging three times the rate and for me, it wouldn’t be worth it because I’d be spending most of my time out of the room anyway. A nice place to stay for a reasonable price. I would recommend to anybody and I will be back.

Property was clean and comfortable. The pillows were only two per bed (some people like more) and very flat. Otherwise beds firm but comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The Wilkes-Barre Lodge exceeded all of my expectations. It was extremely clean and well kept. The area around the hotel was not great, but otherwise a very comfortable stay.

Great Stay at Wilkes-Barre Lodge!
I had a wonderful experience at the Wilkes-Barre Lodge Hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and check-in was quick and easy. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet—perfect for a restful night. The location is convenient, with easy access to local shops and restaurants. Great value for the price. I’d definitely stay here again!

Nice clean comfy room but didn’t feel welcome
Clean comfortable room. Short drive to dining and shopping. Staff was very nice. The problems were the harsh polices about check-in and check-out, and the unfriendly tone of the posted notice about them. I didn’t even know what they were trying to say with the thing about a half hour (see pic). Worse: all the free AC outlets are blocked off so you can't plug things into them. To charge devices you have to unplug the TV, microwave, or fridge.
