This was my 4th time staying at the Lodge. It is clean, the staff is friendly, and in a good location. There is easy access to the highway with plenty of food, gas, and shopping nearby. You can't beat the price.

Pleasant stay in Wilkes Barre

Always love staying here. BEST motel in Wilkes Barre in my opinion. The staff knows my face and enjoys seeing me come to stay

the room was clean and recently remodeled. The bed was comfy. The hot and cold water in the shower were switched so that when we arrived feeling coated with travel ick, we could not take a hot shower. Eventually, we figured it out, but it was very unpleasant in late December. While we tried to sleep, the heater cycled on and off noisily all night long. When the heater wasn't running, there ws no traffic noise and I think I would have given all the stars except for these two problems. It's a fine value and they should be able to fix the hot/cold switcheroo and if they replaced the heaters or fixed the air leak in the room, it would be nicer than what you would expect for the price.

Staff at check-in was friendly and took time to explain things. The room is small but clean. I saw so relieved it was not carpet! The floors were clean, bathroom was spotless. Looked like new renovations. No funky weird smells. Definitely stay again next time we are visiting.

Quiet, clean, close to shopping and few minutes from Mohegan casino. Wonderful woman at front desk was very helpful and pleasant. I decided to stay at this lodge since the casino was charging three times the rate and for me, it wouldn’t be worth it because I’d be spending most of my time out of the room anyway. A nice place to stay for a reasonable price. I would recommend to anybody and I will be back.
