This is a very old rather quirky motel. We had pre-paid for our 1-night stay and the reception office was un-manned for our entire stay. Room rather small and dated but had everything needed. Dining facilities have now been closed.
Good meal at the New Norfolk Hotel and breakfast at Maccas!

Staff friendly and helpful. The room was not large but adequate, and well equipped. Plenty of towels etc. Quiet. Air con/heating efficient. Each unit painted a different colour and lots of plants around make for a lovely aspect. Recommended!

A Colorful and Artistic Stay in New Norfolk

If you love colors, art, and history, this is a wonderful place to stay. Each room is uniquely decorated with creativity, clean and comfortable. Just steps away from the charming town center, you can enjoy views of the Derwent River, heritage sites, antique shops, and cozy cafés. Truly a memorable and artistic experience.

We chuckled when we first arrived and saw the collection of bric a brac that was dotted around the entire motel. The rooms were warm and comfortable, if a little tired. Friendly and helpful staff, and the location is very quiet, yet close to the middle of town.
Good value for money, and we would certainly stay here again when next we visit New Norfolk.
